New look for Vega
You may have noticed a change to our logo in this issue of the Beacon. We have refreshed and modernised our brand identity to ensure it communicates the precision, reliability and value of our products, whilst of course respecting our history and acknowledging what has worked so well for us in the past.

Vega supplies lights for US Coast Guard training centre
Vega is supplying a large number of VRL-74 LED range lights for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Training Center in Yorktown, approximately 180 miles south of Washington DC.
Coming Soon: 62320-2–certified, CE-certified Vega AIS Type 1
Very few companies beside Vega offer Automatic Identification System (AIS) Aids to Navigation (AtoN) with IEC 62320-2 certification. The Vega AIS Type 1 Aid to Navigation will obtain its IEC 62320-2 certification in February 2015, making it fully compliant with AIS base stations and any other AIS-certified products in the vicinity, including shipboard AIS receivers.
